Seth Rogen Tweets About Ray Rice's Punishment
Seth Rogen Slams the NFL Over Ray Rice's Lenient Punishment
A shocking video of Ray Rice assaulting his then-fiancée, Janay Palmer, in an elevator surfaced on Monday morning, and Seth Rogen took to Twitter to express his frustration toward the NFL. The footage was captured back in February, when the Baltimore Ravens running back was arrested for allegedly hitting Janay at a casino in Atlantic City, NJ. At the time, Rice pleaded not guilty, and the NFL received plenty of backlash when it announced his punishment: a fine and a two-game suspension, which many saw as too mild. Following the release of the elevator footage on Monday, the NFL senior vice president of communications told CNN the league hadn't seen the video until now. Hours later, the Baltimore Ravens terminated Rice's contract. See Seth's series of tweets below:
I don't know much about football, but I know that Ray Rice is a piece of garbage who shouldn't be allowed to play it professionally anymore.

.@nflcommish your punishment for beating a woman is less than for smoking weed. Get your head out of your fucking ass.
