Zara Tindall, Queen Elizabeth II's Granddaughter, Has Suffered a Miscarriage

Zara Tindall, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and cousin to Princes William and Harry, has suffered a miscarriage. A Buckingham Palace rep confirmed the heartbreaking news to Us Weekly on Saturday, just a day before Christmas. In a statement, the rep said, "Very sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby. At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacy."

Zara announced her second pregnancy at the end of November. She and her husband, former rugby player Mike Tindall, are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Mia. The 35-year-old equestrian is the daughter of Princess Royal Anne and is currently 16th in line for the throne.
