Ashley Benson Is Engaged to Oil Heir Brandon Davis: "Love of My Life"

Ashley Benson is getting married! The "Pretty Little Liars" star announced her engagement news on Instagram on July 6. She reposted a photo taken by her fiancé, Brandon Davis, of her hand wearing her brand-new engagement ring. "Love of my life @ashleybenson," he wrote on top. She added, "My best friendddddd. I love you." Benson also reposted a FaceTime screenshot taken by her friend model Theresa Picciallo in which Benson smiled and showed off the ring. "Our babies are getting married!!!!!!" Picciallo wrote.

Benson, 33, and Davis, 43, were first linked publicly earlier this year when they sat courtside at a Lakers game in January.

Davis is the grandson of billionaire oil tycoon Marvin Davis, who ran Davis Petroleum. Per The New York Times, the patriarch eventually sold his oil holdings in the 1980s and invested in entertainment and real estate. He bought 20th Century Fox in 1981 and sold it to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation four years later.

Davis previously dated actor Mischa Barton for about a year back in 2004. He's also longtime friends with Paris Hilton. As for Benson, she previously dated rapper G-Eazy and actor Cara Delevingne.

Back in 2021, Benson opened up about why she's decided to try to keep her love life mostly out of the spotlight. "I usually keep my relationships private," she told Cosmopolitan UK. "You obviously can't help if you get photographed together. [But] it's more sacred that way. Those private moments are for you and your partner, and I think it's best not to be over-exposed, and you can really protect your relationship if you're not exploiting it."

But she admitted it's hard when untrue "gossip" about her comes out. "The most annoying part is having to sit back and be quiet while everybody talks about you and you have to deal with it," she explained. "People can say whatever they want about me, but unless you know me, you don't really know anything at all."
