Ben Platt and Noah Galvin Reveal Their Wedding Plans: "Our Priority Is Definitely a Dance Party"

Following their November 2022 engagement, Ben Platt and Noah Galvin are planning their dream wedding. In a July 16 interview with People, the couple revealed that their biggest priority for their nuptials is pretty simple. "What's most important about the big day is dance!" Galvin shared.

"Yes, our priority is definitely a dance party," Platt said. "Our main focus is how to orchestrate the evening so that as little time as possible can be spent doing anything other than dancing." He added jokingly, "It's a dance party with a little Judaism at the beginning."

The "Dear Evan Hansen" alums announced their engagement news Nov. 25, 2022, in a romantic Instagram post showing off Galvin's ring. "He agreed to hang out forever 💕," Platt captioned a photo series. On his page, Galvin added of their engagement, "I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours 🫂."

About six months later, the couple took their engagement to the next level. On May 29, Platt revealed Galvin proposed back to him, captioning a photo of his new ring, "He proposed back," on his Instagram Story. The ring's design matches the one Platt proposed to Galvin with, just with a sapphire stone in it instead of a diamond.

Platt and Galvin publicly announced their romance back in May 2020, but the two had an obvious connection before then. While Platt famously originated his titular "Dear Evan Hansen" role in the Tony-winning Broadway musical in 2016, Galvin replaced him in November 2017, and a friendship blossomed from there. Years later, their bond turned romantic, and they've been sharing their love with us ever since.

In September 2021, the pair attended the LA premiere of their Broadway play-turned-movie and showed off some adorable PDA on the blue carpet. They also walked the red carpet at the 2022 Grammys. Since then, the two have shared some of their cute couple moments via Instagram, but their engagement announcements might be their sweetest of all.
