A Timeline of Chris Appleton and Lukas Gage's Whirlwind Romance

After their romantic getaway in Mexico, the pair took their love to Los Angeles, where they made their red carpet debut at Vanity Fair and TikTok's A Night For Young Hollywood party. Appleton wore a black suit with a silky white button-up shirt, while Gage had on a white turtleneck and matching white pants and sneakers.

In an interview with The New York Times, Gage was asked if his Instagram photos with Appleton were meant to be a relationship announcement. Instead of setting the record straight, the actor neither confirmed nor denied anything.

"If they want to think that, they can," Gage said about fans taking their posts as confirmation they're dating. "I'm a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody's business and nothing can be sacred. It's a weird line that I'm still trying to figure out."

While making an appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show," Appleton finally confirmed that he and Gage are together. "Anyone in your life we should know about?" Barrymore asked the hairstylist. "Actually, yeah," Appleton replied. "I'm very happy. Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special. Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special."

Barrymore then showed a picture from the couple's trip to Mexico on the screen, which received cheers from the audience.

According to Us Weekly, the pair took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. The publication reported the couple had only shared the news with their loved ones. "Friends think they are a great couple," an insider reportedly said. "Even though they moved very quickly, everyone around them is very excited about their relationship."

The source also said Appleton and Gage "got engaged before they even had rings and then went to pick them out together."

When the couple showed up to the Daily Front Row's seventh annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards with matching rings on their left hands, fans naturally assumed the two had gotten married. During the event, Appleton received the award for hair artist of the year and name-dropped Gage during his acceptance speech, per E! News. "Thank you to Lukas for being my rock and putting up with me," he said. "And making me feel perfect when I know I'm not."

Kardashian, who presented the award to Appleton, gushed over his new relationship with Gage after she returned to the stage following his speech. "I'm so happy he's in a relationship right now and that it's out there because I'm so tired of all my girlfriends and guy friends asking me if you're available, and who my hot guy is who is always with me," she joked.

POPSUGAR confirmed the couple obtained their wedding license in Clark County, NV, on April 22.

The pair confirmed their marriage by sharing a glimpse at their wedding day on Instagram. "Ring finger where the rock is," Gage captioned his post, which showed him and Appleton wearing matching black coats, leather pants, and boots to mark the occasion.

"We did it 💍," Appleton captioned his own post. "Big thank you to @kimkardashian & @shaniatwain." Photos revealed Kardashian officiated the wedding, while Twain performed her hit "You're Still the One" in front of the couple as they toasted with Champagne.

The pair looked as fashionable as ever during an appearance at an Armani event in Malibu, CA, in July.

Once again, Appleton and Gage looked stylish during an appearance at Hammerstein Ballroom on Sept. 6, where they attended a celebration of "The Victoria's Secret's World Tour."
