Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's Biggest Relationship Milestones

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have managed to have an unbreakable bond for more than 15 years. The two met back in 2006, when Teigen starred as Legend's love interest in the music video for his single "Stereo." Following the steamy music video, Teigen and Legend began dating and eventually got engaged in December 2011. The couple tied the knot two years later in September 2013 and have since expanded their family, which consists of their kids Luna, Miles, Esti, and Wren.

Throughout even their most difficult moments, including the pair's pregnancy loss in 2020, Teigen and Legend have approached all the ups and downs with a sense of vulnerability and authenticity, a trait that makes them loved by so many. Legend shared what makes their longtime relationship work in a video on X, saying, "We support each other in everything that we do and I love seeing her succeed at the things she loves to do and she loves seeing me succeed at things that I love to do. That's the way you should be with your partner."

In light of the couple renewing their vows on their 10-year anniversary in September, here's a complete timeline of their relationship.

"Chrissy was standing right next to me, and I was like, 'Oh, my God. I've hidden it so well this whole time. Now as we're just about to get to the Maldives, she's going to find out I have a ring in this box, and it's going to ruin the surprise, and I'll have to get on my knees in the airport.'"

Thankfully, security decided to not check the mysterious box, and Legend was able to propose the way he'd planned once they arrived in the Maldives.

"Of course, the most impactful song was the one I sang at our wedding reception: 'All of Me.' The first time I sang it for Chrissy, I whispered it into her ear and she cried."
