Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies Turned a Whirlwind Romance Into 13 Years of Lasting Love

After dating for about five months, Daniel proposed. "When he asked me to marry him I said yes and I didn't even think about it," Rachael said about the proposal.

Rachael and Daniel married on Aug. 8, 2004. Their wedding was just a couple months after one of Daniel's first breakthrough roles, as John Jameson, Mary Jane's fiancé in Spider-Man 2.

In 2012, the couple celebrated a creative milestone they achieved together: the release of Daniel's film on Showtime, Broken Kingdom, which he directed and she starred in.

In September 2013, after nine years of marriage, the pair welcomed daughter Charlotte Easton Gillies. "It's a girl," Daniel tweeted at the time. "The tiny new empress of my everything. She's immaculate. We're delirious." As for waiting almost a decade to have a child, Rachael told People it had to do with their short courtship."We got married incredibly fast. We got engaged after dating for maybe five months and we got married a couple of months after that. There was just so much more both of us wanted to do. We wanted to travel and accomplish a lot more in our professional lives."

In August 2014, the couple marked their 10-year milestone (a huge feat in Hollywood).

In 2015, the gorgeous couple had their second child, a son, named Theodore Vigo Sullivan Gillies. After his birth, Rachael credited her "supportive husband" who helps out with the kids.
