Alec and Hilaria Baldwin Welcomed a Baby Girl — Meet Their 6 Kids Ages 7 and Under

Born on Aug. 23, 2013, Carmen is Hilaria's oldest child and Alec's second after a 17-year gap. Carmen is Ireland Baldwin's first-ever younger sibling, and she's referred to the cutie as her "mini-me." Although Carmen has an older sister, she's been "committed" to having a baby sister since 2018. "She was a little bit disappointed. [She said,] 'How about you have a girl first, then you can have another boy?'" Hilaria told People after Romeo's birth. "I was like, 'It doesn't work that way! I don't get to choose.' She's like, 'No, you don't understand, Mommy. It's going to be a girl.' I was like, 'No, I promise. I promise you it's a boy.' She is committed to a fifth child."

Rafael — or Rafa, as he's often referred to — was born on June 17, 2015. His middle name is a nod to Hilaria's maiden name, Thomas. Although she shared bump photos throughout her entire pregnancy with Rafa, Hilaria really opened up after his birth when she posted candid snaps of her postpartum body.

"I hope you understand my intention here: I believe it is important to accept and love our form after going through a bit of a battle bringing life into this world," she wrote on Instagram.

The couple's third child and second son together, Leonardo, was born on Sept. 12, 2016. Although he's most commonly referred to as Leo, Alec gave his son a sweet nickname after his birth: "Leoncito."

Just like with Rafa, Hilaria shared a lot about body image throughout her pregnancy with Leo. "Being my third baby in three years, I am a true believer that our bodies are amazing, and we should celebrate them, rather than feel embarrassed and hide until the baby weight is entirely gone," she wrote on Instagram. "For both women and men: we create life . . . so let's honor how we make these miracles."

The couple's youngest child and third son together, Romeo — or Rome, as he's called — was born on May 17, 2018. Before he was born, Hilaria had been referring to him as Diego, but they changed their mind on his name. In the two days between his birth and being named Romeo, Hilaria shared that they were all thinking of ideas. "Proud big sister Carmen came to meet our new baby today," Hilaria wrote on Instagram. "All is wonderful. Still choosing his name. Carmen has had quite a few great ideas." We sense the hint of sarcasm (Hilaria included a cry-laughing emoji at the end of that sentence) but love that they waited on naming Rome until they found the best fit.

Hilaria and Alec's fifth child together, a son named Eduardo, was born on Sept. 8, 2020. In an announcement on Instagram, Hilaria wrote: "We had a baby last night. He is perfect and we couldn't be happier 🌟. Stay tuned for a name." Of his sixth child, Alec added on his own account: "Número Cinco está aqui..... (Para mi, número seis). I love you, @hilariabaldwin."

Two days later, Hilaria posted the first full photo of her newborn's face to share his name — and nickname! — with the world. "We would love to introduce you to Eduardo Pau Lucas Baldwin . Born Sept 8, 2020 at 7:46pm he weighed 7lbs 8oz His name means 'wealthy guardian of peace and light'. We love you baby Edu."

Hilaria and Alec shared the news that they welcomed a sixth child together, a daughter named Lucia, on March 1. The announcement came just six months after Hilaria gave birth to Edu in the form of a photo Alec took of Hilaria with all six of her babies.

Ireland, Alec's oldest child whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger, was born on Oct. 23, 1995. In recent years, Alec's come to terms with his little girl becoming a woman, leaving hilarious dad comments on her modeling photos. Although Hilaria is her stepmother, the pair share a special relationship considering Ireland was grown when Hilaria married Alec in 2012.

"As someone who loves her, my job was not to step in and take over . . . but rather respect what had been for the first 15 years of her life and then become a part of that, in a way that works for everyone," Hilaria wrote in April 2019. "So yes, sometimes my language about my biological children does not include her. Because I did not birth her and I never want to disrespect the fact that she has a wonderful mother. But this will never take away from how much I love her, need her in my life, and think that she is one of the best things that has ever happened to me." So sweet!
