According to E! News, the couple made their debut red carpet appearance at the Straight Outta Compton premiere, but it's possible they'd been dating before this. In the film, Stanfield starred as none other than Calvin Broadus Jr., aka Snoop Dogg.

On her now-deactivated Instagram page, Roquemore, according to E!, shared and deleted a picture of their daughter, captioned "Mom." E! also reported that she had been expecting in March of that year.

Prior to that, the duo also attended the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards as dates in September 2018 — Stanfield stars in Atlanta, which had been up for a few awards that night.

Around Valentine's Day, he dropped the song under the moniker HTIEKAL, his name backward. The cover features a picture of him and Roquemore at the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.

March 2020: Stanfield Asks Out Singer Ari Lennox on Instagram Live

Stanfield commented on her Instagram Live (30 seconds into the archived clip), "Can you be my date? Let's go." Just a note, though, that Stanfield had been promoting The Photograph, which stars him and Issa Rae, so this could have just been a promo stunt. (In fact, Lennox is on the soundtrack!) In October 2020, Stanfield also reportedly reposted and deleted one of Lennox's photos with the caption "js."

November 2020: Stanfield Declines to Talk About His Daughter and His Relationship

"I don't really talk about her a lot," he told The Hollywood Reporter. He has been private about his family for a while, though. Back in 2017, he also declined to comment directly about his partner and daughter during an interview with Vulture.

2021: Roquemore Mentions Stanfield a Few Times on Social Media

In February 2021, Roquemore jokingly tweeted, "Ewwww my daughter looks like Bill O'Neal." Stanfield notably portrays O'Neal in Judas and the Black Messiah, nabbing a best supporting actor Oscar nomination for his part. Fast forward a month later, she congratulated Stanfield for his Oscar nomination on Twitter, referring to him as "Brotha Stanfield." On the night of the Oscars, she then quote-tweeted a picture of him in a stylish YSL jumpsuit, commenting "This how I ended up pregnant."

Whether or not they are still officially together, it appears as though they are on friendly terms!
