Mariah Carey's Twins' Fashion-Show Video Takes a Dramatic Turn

All is fair in love and fashion, it seems. On Saturday, Mariah Carey shared a TikTok video on Instagram featuring her 11-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whom she shares with Nick Cannon, putting on a fashion show complete with a real audience. The kids strutted their stuff on a red runway, pulling their best model moves and adding in plenty of attitude for their adoring audience.

However, things took a turn near the end of the video when Monroe stepped in front of her brother and tossed her long hair in his face, leading to the kids play-fighting until "security" is called in by their mom. Just in case anyone was worried, the video was fully staged, and the twins had both their mom's support and her participation. Carey captioned the hilarious skit with "No kids were harmed in the making of this video 😂💖🤍."

While their fight was definitely just for show, Moroccan and Monroe's modeling skills are real. In fact, Monroe landed her first modeling gig in 2021 when she took part in OshKosh B'Gosh's back-to-school campaign. "As a little girl, I was determined to realize my dreams. Now as a mother, it brings me so much joy to see my children visualize and develop the dreams they hold in their own hearts," Carey said in a statement at the time, per People. "We did the campaign because we love the message of empowering kids to dream boldly and blaze their own path."

The twins' love for fashion shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since their famous mom is a fashionista herself. In fact, Carey attended a fashion show in Sicily on Saturday (and shared photos from the event on her Instagram), which may have inspired her kids to get in on the action.

One thing is certain, Monroe and Moroccan's Oscar-worthy performances suggest they're following in their mom's fabulous footsteps.
