Ed Sheeran uses loop pedals during his live performances in order to create layers of his vocals and guitar melodies. During his Feb. 10 concert at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand, his loop pedal malfunctioned while he was performing "Bloodstream." Since it caused an unpleasant noise to play over the speakers, Sheeran was forced to pause his performance in order to address the issue. After trying multiple times to fix the audio, however, the noise still wouldn't go away. Sheeran then improvised by performing the rest of his set acoustically.
