Here's What David Beckham and His Sons Would Look Like as Trophies

On the heels of Wednesday night's ESPYs, a younger generation of sports fans got their chance to honor — and slime — some of their favorite athletes at the Kids' Choice Sports Awards in LA on Thursday. Former NFL player Michael Strahan broke from his NYC morning show to host the event, which also brought out Gabby Douglas, Lolo Jones, and Bethany Hamilton and featured a high-energy performance by Pharrell Williams. However, the man of the hour was easily David Beckham, who walked the red carpet with sons Romeo and Cruz and was later honored with the first-ever legend award during the ceremony. The retired soccer was recognized for his talent, sportsmanship, and role-model status and thanked the crowd of kids along with his two boys before the trio was covered in gold slime — no, seriously, they were caked in gold. David adorably tried to help his little ones wipe some of the slime off with a towel, but it was no use.

Megan Fox was there promoting her kid-friendly upcoming film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's the first time we've seen the actress on the red carpet since giving birth to her second son, Bodhi Green, back in February, but she did give us a glimpse of her personal life a few weeks ago when she officially joined Instagram. Megan also celebrated a big milestone with her husband Brian Austin Green last month when they rang in their third wedding anniversary.
