Thanks for your kind words. Now about that new album." Kate and Matt began dating in 2010, and Matt popped the question in April 2011. Their son, Bingham Bellamy, was born in July of that year. Kate spoke out multiple times about not minding a long engagement. In October, she told Women's Health, "My parents [Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell] aren't married," adding, "They didn't feel like they needed a piece of paper to be committed. So for me, I know that marriage is not a golden ticket."

That same week, during an interview with KDWB in Minneapolis, Jason confirmed the sad news but said that everything is "cool," adding, "It's not a bad situation, it's not one of those kinds of things."

According to Big Sean's rep, the rapper was the one to end the couple's relationship, saying that "after careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off." There were reports that Big Sean had been cheating on Naya, which his rep denied, adding, "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately."

In July, Naya surprised everyone when she secretly wed a longtime friend, actor Ryan Dorsey, in Mexico. "We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife. Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for," the couple told People. Reports quickly spread that Naya married Ryan in the same location, on the same date, and wearing the same dress as she was planning to wed Big Sean. The rapper has moved on as well; he's currently coupled up with singing sensation Ariana Grande.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie's split has had many people scratching their heads this year; they announced their separation after three years of marriage in January, and in a statement, Hilary's rep said that the pair "have mutually decided [upon] an amicable separation," adding: "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son and ask for privacy at this time." Since then, they've been spotted out and about together on many occasions, both alone and with their 2-year-old son, Luca. Mike and Hilary's closeness has led to rumors that the two have rekindled their romance, but neither of them have confirmed those reports.

Another couple that has remained close since their split is Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. They were married for more than 10 years and had two children together when they announced that they were "consciously uncoupling" in March. They are clearly still on good terms, as they took a getaway to the Bahamas with their kids after their split and have had multiple dinner dates in LA. Chris Martin went on to date actress Jennifer Lawrence for a few months, and Gwyneth has been linked to Glee producer Brad Falchuk since August.

In April 2010, they welcomed their son, Julian Fuego Thicke, and they made their last public appearance in late January when they attended the 2014 Grammy Awards together. After the split, Robin made multiple public attempts to win Paula back — he dedicated songs to her during concerts, performed a tune called "Get Her Back" at award shows, and even named his critically panned album Paula.
