A Lesson in Being the World's Coolest Kid, Taught by Blue Ivy Carter

Even though her mom performed an incredible 10-minute medley of her hit songs and accepted the Video Vanguard Award, Blue was easily the center of attention at the 2014 MTV VMAs. Before hitting the stage to help present Beyoncé with a golden trophy — and yelling, "Yay, Mommy!" into the microphone — all eyes (and cameras) were on Blue as she danced and clapped along to Beyoncé's song "Flawless," showcasing moves that even Jay Z didn't know she had. She also managed to capture the hearts of other pop stars in the audience; Taylor Swift said, "Every time I see Blue Ivy, I cry," while
Katy Perry tweeted, "OMG BLUE IVY JUST PERSONALLY WAVED AT ME. MY LIFE IS OVER."
