As the show continued, the Avengers assembled to present Robert Downey Jr. with the MTV Generation Award. You have to watch his acceptance speech, because it's pretty moving.
The Avengers cast also debuted a new clip of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Our favorite part, though, was Chris Evans's and Chris Hemsworth's gorgeous blue eyes.
Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley won for best kiss! Which is sad, because Ansel wasn't even there. He made up for it, though, by sending a charming message to Shailene Woodley.
Backstage, Sofia Vergara was trying to have an intimate moment with Joe Manganiello, and Reese Witherspoon was totally third-wheeling it.
