Joshua and Diane are living proof that a horrible first date could lead to a beautiful romance. Diane opened up about the pair's rocky start during an appearance on Conan in 2013. "He took me to this romantic place, which is kind of awkward when I think of it — it was a little intense," she said. "It was overgrown with beautiful flowers, to which I had a huge allergic reaction — like really, really bad. I was sneezing and coughing and my eyes were watery." Diane went on to reveal that Josh talked about himself for two hours straight, drove her home in a smelly car, and then tried to go in for a kiss. "I swear to God, at the end, I was like, 'Should I slap him?'" Josh redeemed himself, however, when he sent her flowers and a box of kleenex the next day. The pair has been together ever since.
