New Zealand: April 2014

The family traveled across the globe for their first royal tour as a trio and Prince George stole the show. The world's most famous toddler chewed on his mum's hair and rubbed shoulders with other babies his age at an event at Government House early in the tour. Kate and William also threw themselves into the local activities with white-water riding, yacht racing, wine tasting, and a rugby match.

Denmark: November 2011

The royal couple partnered up with their Danish counterparts Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark at the UNICEF warehouse at the docks in Copenhagen to raise awareness of the famine in East Africa.

Wales: 2011-2013, 2014

The ink on their marriage certificate was barely dry before Kate and William were back in their rented four-bedroom cottage in Anglesey. They continued to live there until after the birth of Prince George in 2013, returning in 2014 for a visit to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

Belgium: August 2014

The couple attended a WWI commemoration service at the St. Symphorien cemetery near Liege, along with Prince Harry.

St Vincent and the Grenadines: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

The Caribbean archipelago contains Mustique, the privately owned island that has been a Middleton favorite for over a decade. Kate's family head over every year to celebrate Carole's birthday on Jan. 31, and Kate has been each year since her wedding. She and George went without William in 2014 because he was taking an agricultural course back home.

The Seychelles: May 2011

The Indian Ocean favorite was where the couple took a postsplit make-or-break holiday back in 2007, and they returned to North Island for their honeymoon.

Australia: April 2014

Prince George made a public appearance at Sydney Zoo, while Kate and William visited the Blue Mountains and Uluru. They also visited a livestock fair where Kate joked that William could use a toupee made from alpaca wool.

US: 2011 and 2014

After visiting Canada in July, the couple bolted on a three-day trip to Los Angeles to raise awareness of conservation, inner-city arts, and supporting the military. In late 2014 they headed to New York for some fundraising for their charities and a little courtside schmooze with Jay Z and Beyoncé.

Singapore: September 2012

The queen chose for Kate and William to tour Asia in her Diamond Jubilee year, and in Singapore the couple visited a Rolls Royce factory and a school for children with special needs. Orchids were named after the couple, and they laid wreaths at a war cemetery.

France: 2012, 2013, 2014

Kate and William holidayed in a French chateau before their Asia tour, and when William returned from military training in the Falkland Islands, he joined Kate and her family for a skiing holiday in Meribel, the French Alps. The couple were part of the D-Day commemorations in Arromanches in 2014.

Scotland: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

Kate and William are familiar with the Scottish Highlands from their regular visits to the queen's home, Balmoral. The queen and duke of Edinburgh stay there every Summer, and their children/grandchildren often visit. Kate and William stayed there the first Summer they were married, and again in 2015 with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They have also stayed there on their own, as was the case over Halloween in 2014. Kate and William have also visited Glasgow twice for Commonwealth Games-related engagements, Strathearn (of where they are the earl and countess), and most recently Dundee, where they spent the day raising awareness of young people and mental health issues.

Switzerland: March 2013

When Kate was pregnant with Prince George, she and William attended the Winter wedding one of his oldest friends, Mark Tomlinson, to Olympic dressage gold medalist Laura Bechtolsheimer.

Malaysia: September 2012

Kate gave her first overseas speech at Hospis Malaysia, and some of her personal photos of the rainforest in Borneo were released publicly.

Canada: July 2011

Canada Day Kate and Cowgirl Kate were two of the iconic looks the duchess rocked during hers and William's first royal tour. The couple crossed time zones and racked up the air miles as they zipped from Ottawa to Montreal, Quebec City to Prince Edward Island, and Yellowknife to Calgary. Kate planted her first tree, William beat her in a boat race, and in their free time they kayaked out to a desert island for a picnic under the midnight sun.

The Solomon Islands: September 2012

After being bedecked with flower garlands and carried on carved wooden thrones, the royal couple attended separate engagements on a tour for the first time, when William awarded Duke of Edinburgh gold awards to Solomon Islanders and Kate met with local women's groups.

Tuvalu: September 2012

The fourth-smallest country in the world is where the couple danced in grass skirts and visited a local school. They also became the first royals to actually stay on the island.

The Maldives: March 2014

After the birth of George and before their big royal tour, the duke and duchess spent a week alone in the Cheval Blanc Randheli resort on Noonu Atoll.
