Celebrity Twitter feuds start and end as quickly as they begin, and this year Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj's tweet battle captured everyone's attention. In response to MTV's VMA nominations, Nicki said, "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year." Taylor replied with, "I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.."
The conversation then got a little more heated when Nicki said, "Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this." It seems like the whole conversation was a misunderstanding on Taylor's part because the singer followed up with an apology two days after the exchange and told Nicki she "had missed the point . . . then misspoke." The rapper forgave Taylor, and to prove there was no bad blood between the two, Nicki brought her on stage to perform at the VMAs.
