Kanye West Claims His Offensive Lyrics About Taylor Swift Were Her Idea in His Latest Twitter Rant

It looks like Kanye West and Taylor Swift's former feud might be back on. During Kanye's Yeezy Season 3 event, he debuted not only his third clothing collection but also his new album, The Life of Pablo, which contained a song with some offensive lyrics about Taylor Swift. In a song titled "Famous," Kanye reportedly raps, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b*tch famous," which immediately had fans and friends of Taylor lashing out at the rapper. Her brother, Austin, had a heroic response to the news, and friends Gigi Hadid and Jaime King also tweeted out their feelings on the subject.

Kanye, never one to take criticism lying down, has published some tweets of his own, which not only claim that wife Kim Kardashian gave him the OK to write the graphic lyrics, but that the whole thing was Taylor's idea to begin with. "I called Taylor and had a hour long convo with her about the line," he wrote. "She thought it was funny and gave her blessings." The "Out of the Woods" singer has yet to fire off a response of her own, but her spokesperson has already denied Taylor's knowledge of the lyric. Take a look at Kanye's entire diatribe ahead.
