Joe Jonas's Complete Dating History, From Taylor Swift to Sophie Turner

For almost as long as he's been making headlines for his music, Joe Jonas has also been drawing attention for his high-profile relationships. It seemed like he'd found true love, though, when he married Sophie Turner in 2019. Unfortunately, after four years of marriage, the pair revealed they'd split in joint Instagram posts on Sept. 6 after several days of rumors. "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," they wrote. "There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children." The pair share two children — Willa, who was born in 2020, and a daughter born in 2022 whose name has not been revealed.

Before his romance with the "Game of Thrones" star, Jonas dated a number of other women. Aside from romancing Taylor Swift during his Jonas Brothers days, he also dated one of her best friends — Gigi Hadid. And that's just the icing on the cake (by the ocean). After the Jonas Brothers toured with Aly & AJ in 2006, Jonas quickly hit it off with the singer. Per MTV, they dated for about a year before calling it quits. There are rumors that the girls' hit 2007 single, "Potential Breakup Song," is actually about him.

Taylor Swift

While they never officially admitted they were a couple during their three-month relationship, Swift didn't hold anything back after they ended things in October 2008. Aside from writing a notebook full of songs about the singer, she also went into excruciating detail about their breakup on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2008, revealing that he dumped her over the phone in 27 seconds. Thankfully, the two eventually put all the "bad blood" behind them and are now on good terms.

Camilla Belle

It goes without saying that Swifties were outraged when Jonas quickly started a new relationship with his "Lovebug" music video costar in 2008. While Swift used her music as an outlet for her emotions, the Jonas Brothers's album "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times" features a song called "Much Better" that's rumored to be about Swift. Things for Jonas and Belle didn't last, however, and per People, they called it quits the following year.

Demi Lovato

After starring in Disney Channel's "Camp Rock" in 2007, their friendship eventually turned into something more in 2010. Their relationship eventually fizzled out a few months later.

Ashley Greene

Shortly after ending things with Lovato in 2010, Jonas began dating the "Twilight" star. While the two maintained a steady relationship, they eventually split in 2011. During a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) last October, Jonas revealed that he lost his virginity to the actor.

Even though she was close friends with Greene, Jonas started a relationship with the Swiss-born model in November 2012. Things seemed to get pretty serious between the two, but after 20 months of dating, they eventually parted ways, per Us Weekly.

Gigi Hadid

Eyebrows were certainly raised when Jonas was spotted out with one of Taylor Swift's BFFs in June 2015. Despite looking so in love during their numerous PDA outings, they called it quits about five months later.

Sophie Turner

Jonas and Turner first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted getting cozy at the MTV EMAs in November 2016. In October 2017, they announced that they were engaged, and they tied the knot during a Las Vegas wedding in May 2019. Two months later, they had a second wedding in France with their friends and family.

In July 2020, the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Willa. Their second child, another baby girl, was born in July 2022. Things seemed to be going strong over the course of their marriage, and the pair frequently stepped out for fashionable outings and revealed tidbits about their relationship, such as how Jonas asked Turner for advice for his acting role in 2022's "Devotion." More recently, Turner celebrated Jonas's birthday in August with an affectionate Instagram post showing off their matching pajamas.

On Sept. 3, however, People reported that Jonas had saught out a divorce lawyer. The same day the news broke, Jonas posted a photo on Instagram that prominently showcased his wedding ring, making fans think that the rumors were false. Unfortunately, on Sept. 6, Jonas and Turner confirmed that their marriage was over in a joint Instagram post. Reps for both stars did not respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment.
