Harry and Meghan Join the Queen For an Extraspecial Christmas Lunch With the Royal Family

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got a head start on their holiday festivities when they attended Queen Elizabeth II's annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday. The couple, who are set to tie the knot in May 2018, were joined by more than 50 members of the British royal family, including Kate Middleton, Prince William, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Harry was spotted driving a blue Land Rover Discovery in a black suit, while Meghan sat in the passenger seat and looked gorgeous in a lace dress and shiny lip gloss.

In addition to being the queen's annual luncheon, the event is particularly special for Meghan as it is believed to be the first time she is meeting a large part of the extended royal family. The former Suits actress is also expected to attend all of the queen's upcoming holiday events at Sandringham Estate, which is a big deal given that Meghan will be the first royal fiancée to spend Christmas with the royal family. The holidays truly are the most wonderful time of the year.
