Alba and Warren's first child, a daughter named Honor, was born on June 7, 2008. Apparently, Honor was beyond excited to step into the role of a big sibling when her little sister was born. "Big sister Honor couldn't be more excited about the new addition to our family," Alba shared back in 2011.
On Honor's milestone 13th birthday, Alba wrote her teenager a sweet message on Instagram. "My teenager!!!! This is 13!" she wrote. "You have a heart of gold, you are filled with compassion, you are wicked smart, silly, hilarious, and so kind... I'm just so proud of you 😢... You choosing me to be your mama has been one of the greatest gifts in life baby girl! I hope your teens are everything you hoped for and more, remember to soak up every moment. I love you with my whole heart and soul."
In June 2022, Alba celebrated Honor going off to high school. Alongside photos from her middle school graduation, Alba wrote on Instagram, "so proud of my honorcita - major congrats on this huge milestone 🎉👏🏽🥳 off to high school, baby girl!"
