Olivia is the oldest of the Van Der Beek kids. Born on Sept. 25, 2010, Olivia is certainly the apple of her father's eye. James shared a touching photo series in honor of her 10th birthday, and his caption will make pretty much any parent smile.
"Ten years ago you were born. Seems like yesterday... but also feels like another lifetime ago," he wrote. "As I see you peering over the edge of your childhood into whatever's next, I can't say I know exactly what that is - because you're my first. And just like at every new milestone you reach: I'm new at this. But I cannot tell you enough how grateful I am to be learning how to parent with YOU at the head of the pack. I know you're thinking about more than you're sharing... curious about more than you're asking... and sometimes all I can do is tell you I'm here for you. I'm on your team, invested only in the best possible outcome for you and your happiness. But I see your heart. I see your compassion, your fire, your exquisite creative nature... and I love every part of you. These have been the best ten years of my life. The world is an infinitely better place with you in it, kiddo. Even when you're making bunny ears behind me."
