From Justin Bieber to Rihanna, Stars Are Giving Back During the Coronavirus Outbreak

On April 22, the singer revealed that her charity, BeyGood, partnered with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's COVID-19 relief effort, Start Small. Together, they will donate $6 million to organizations that are providing mental health services during the coronavirus outbreak. They will also team up with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to offer local support in Beyoncé's hometown of Houston, as well as New York, New Orleans, and Detroit.

In May, Beyoncé's charity, BeyGOOD, teamed up with her mom Tina Knowles-Lawson's #IDIDMYPART campaign to encourage Houston residents to get tested for COVID-19. "We hope this will become a movement and that it will encourage us to get tested and find out our status," Tina told CBS News. "The virus is wreaking havoc on the black community so we need a movement to prioritize our health."
