Justin Hartley's only child, Isabella, was born on July 3, 2004. Isabella and her dad are very close — they go to events and often share Instagram photos with each other when Hartley's off work. The actor's fans have watched Isabella grow up on his Instagram, and now that she's a teenager, she's dating — something Hartley wasn't too excited about initially.
During a 2019 appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Harley told the talk show host, "I know [dating is] a natural thing; it's a healthy thing. [Isabella's] wonderful. She's sweet. She's responsible. She's great. She's earned the trust. But I hate it — I hate all of it."
Hartley and his ex-wife, Lindsay Korman, had an amicable divorce in 2012 and successfully coparented Isabella ever since. Justin told Us Weekly in 2019 that their style of coparenting is all about communication. "Communication and an understanding of where everyone's coming from and realizing that it's hard," he said. "As much as you try to put yourself in other people's shoes, you're never fully going to be able to do it, but you should just make the effort." He also said Isabella is very smart and self-sufficient — something any parent would love!
