Rumors of a romance between the two had been brewing for quite some time, with People reporting on June 10 that Kanye began "pursuing" Irina several weeks prior. A source told E! News on June 9 that "Kanye and Irina connected recently when they were both in New York City. They met up one night and had chemistry and hit it off."
