The "Friends" Premiere Changed Everything For Its Young Stars

While he and Aniston were both 25 years old during the "Friends" pilot in 1994, Matthew Perry — who was born on Aug. 19, 1969 — is six months younger than her, making him the youngest cast member. In his memoir, Perry opened up about his battle with addiction and journey with recovery. Perry wrote that he attended rehab 15 times. In the book, he says his addiction issues began when he joined "Friends."

Additionally, Perry starred in "The Whole Nine Yards" in 2000 and its sequel, "The Whole Ten Yards," four years later. He had a small reoccurring role in season five of "West Wing" in 2003. He starred in CBS's "The Odd Couple" from 2015 to 2017.
