August 2023: Sam Asghari Files For Divorce From Britney Spears

A year after tying the knot, Asghari filed for divorce from Spears on Aug. 16. In the court documents obtained by POPSUGAR, Asghari cited July 28, 2023 as their separation date and "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.
