On May 3, the singer posted a Tweet that shared her personal experience of getting an abortion. "I had an abortion in October of last year while I was on tour," she wrote. "I went to planned parenthood where they gave me the abortion pill. It was easy. Everyone deserves that kind of access." She also added a link to resources and places where people can donate.
