"The only person on the show I ever had a romantic relationship with was Matthew Lawrence," she revealed in an episode of "Pod Meets World" in August 2022, per Us Weekly.

While Fishel didn't delve too much into their relationship, she noted that they kept their romance a secret from the rest of the cast during filming. She explained, "We did not want it to be a big deal on set. [But] I went to his prom. Our moms were friends. It was cute."
