Beyoncé made a surprise appearance at Swift's "Eras Tour" movie premiere on Oct. 11, but the two posing on the red carpet together shouldn't be a huge shock. If fans can recall, the two icons have been friends for at least a decade. The disastrous 2009 MTV VMAs may have been where it all began, as Beyoncé invited Swift back on stage to finish her acceptance speech after being famously interrupted by Kanye West. Since then, the two have kept in touch, though we've rarely seen them in the same place together.
In December 2014, the singers took photos together at Swift's 25th birthday party. Then, at the 2016 Grammy Awards, they were photographed hugging backstage. We've seen other glimpses of their friendship through the years, from birthday wishes to celebrating each other's accomplishments. But the two sitting together and goofing around at Swift's film premiere was an extra sweet moment fans didn't expect.
