Bass and Turchin welcomed their daughter, Violet Betty, on Oct. 13, 2021. She was born one minute after her brother. Although the twins were both "well-behaved" as babies, Turchin said Violet was more energetic than her brother at first. "[Violet] is way more strong-willed and way more active, and way more opinionated and vocal," Turchin told People in December 2021.
However, their children's personalities gradually switched. "Our son and daughter are very opposite of each other, which I love," Bass explained to E! News in February. "She's the type that will just be in the corner reading a book. She's so independent. She's like, 'I got this.'"
Apart from showing off their kids on social media, Bass and Turchin have been introducing their twins to the spotlight by bringing them to several red carpets, including an event for the Environmental Media Association in June 2022 and another for CBS's Home For the Holidays in November 2022. Most recently, the family of four made an appearance at the Gold Meets Golden 10th Anniversary event in February.
