Prior to finding love with LA, Grant dated his "Glee" costar Hannah Douglass. The "Puppy Love" actor played Dalton Academy student Sebastian Smythe on the show from 2011 to 2013. Meanwhile, Douglass played a high school cheerleader on the show. After posting several photos together on social media, Grant confirmed his relationship with Douglass in a 2014 interview with the Entertainment Inquirer. He told the publication they had been dating "for a few years," meaning they likely became a couple during their "Glee" days.
According to Bustle, Grant and Douglass attended Heather Morriss's wedding to Taylor Hubbell in 2015. At the time, the actor shared a photo with Douglass at the event on Instagram. "So much fun with [Douglass] & friends at Heather & Taylor's wedding, rocking my @thetiebow bow tie," he reportedly captioned the post, which has since been deleted. That July, Grant and Douglass were also spotted holding hands during 2015 San Diego Comic-Con, as seen in photos obtained by Just Jared.
It's unclear when they officially split, but Douglass has since appeared to have found love with photographer Adam Secore.
