Foxx once dated US Air Force veteran Connie Kline in 1993, per People. A year after the pair got together, they welcomed their only child together, Corrine Foxx, on Feb. 15, 1994. Despite the fact that Foxx and Kline broke up, they remained cordial and raised their daughter with "a whole lot of love."
In an October 2021 interview with E! News, Foxx briefly discussed his experience coparenting with Kline and why he chose not to get married to any of his partners. "Growing up, Corinne was like, 'Well, people are married, and that's what they have, my friends.' But then a lot of those marriages ended up not doing well as the kids got older," he said. "Unfortunately, we saw the kids get fractured from their families."
Foxx continued by admitting that not getting married has actually made his family stronger. "Us, we actually came together more," he said.
Foxx and Kline's daughter grew up to follow in her father's footsteps by becoming an actor. She's appeared in films like "47 Meters Down: Uncaged" and "Safety," as well as the TV series "Live in Front of a Studio Audience" and "Dollface." She also stars in the musical game show "Beat Shazam" with her dad. The pair are also developing a new game show called "We Are Family," which is set to premiere in 2024.
