The exact dates of Long's relationship with Maggie Q — whom Long starred alongside in "Live Free and Die Hard" — are unknown, though they were linked together in 2007.
Speaking to News.com.au in December 2022, Long shared that he and Maggie are still on good terms despite things not working out romantically for them. "My ex Maggie came for Thanksgiving, and we're also really close," Long said. "When you're dating somebody like that, especially for that amount of time, I find you get to know the families and life is so short."
Long added of other relationships: "I don't make that many connections, those kinds of connections so I really like the idea of being able to maintain those connections and I find it kind of sad when that can't happen."
