Pink Has Some Pretty Badass Tattoos, but the Stories Behind Them Are Even Better

These Japanese letters were one of Pink's first tattoos. "One is my very first one when I was 12. My mom didn't know; she freaked out; she was always freaking out," she explained. "It says, 'Good luck and happiness.' Then my mom and I got matching ones — her first, when she was 55! Mine says 'Mother.' Then there's 'Strength' and 'The will to live.'"

On Pink's left arm is a picture of her late dog, Elvis. "This was Elvis, a bulldog," she previously explained to the UK's The Independent. "Next to him is a bible verse: 'A time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, a time to dance, sleep in peace my darling, I release you' — he drowned in my pool. I wasn't there. He was being babysat."

Pink has a tribal music note behind her left ear.

Located on the back of her neck is a barcode. "[It] was my Missundaztood present," she previously revealed, referring to her second studio album.

Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, got matching "Tru Luv" tattoos on their second date back in 2001.

The singer has a tribute to her late dog on her left arm. "He was my childhood dog, West Highland terrier," Pink told The Independent in 2012.

"I have a frog on my foot 'cause I Iove frogs," she explained.

"I have a button on my right arm that I got with my friend Butch," Pink told The Independent in 2012. "We got done early in the studio that night. We had been drinking. Obviously."

The dog tags around Pink's right ankle are tributes to her dad, Jim Moore, and her brother, Jason. Pink's father previously served in Vietnam, while her brother is a trainer with the Air Force Thunderbirds.

The mother of two has a dragon on her leg for good luck. "[It] was a seven-hour piece, and I think dragons are good luck. And it looks hot," she previously said.

The broken heart is a nod to her best friend, Lara.

Pink has a heart inked on her hip.

The singer has a razor blade inked on the inside of her wrist next to the word "insecurity," which "means to me that insecurity will kill you."

Pink previously joked that she has two bows on the back of her thighs because she's "a really talented stripper." LOL!

The singer has "Mr. Pink" written on her inner left thigh.
