Rihanna Walks the Oscars Red Carpet After Announcing Her Second Pregnancy

All eyes were on pregnant superstar Rihanna on the 2023 Oscars red carpet. The singer, whose boyfriend A$AP Rocky later appeared at the show, posed for cameras in a sheer leather gown at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday night ahead of her highly anticipated performance of "Lift Me Up" — the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" song that also earned Rihanna her first-ever Oscar nomination this year.

It seems Rihanna may have also brought her toddler son with her as well, per host Jimmy Kimmel's opening monologue (though it's unclear if he actually attended the ceremony), just a week after she shared new photos of him on social media and teased that he'd be missing the biggest night for the film industry. In a caption, she wrote, "My son when he found out his sibling is going to the Oscars and not him," alongside a snap of him pouting.

Rihanna's been quite busy this year already! Her Oscars appearance comes after she and Rocky attended the 2023 Golden Globes, and also marks the second time she's back on stage as a performer following a nearly seven-year hiatus. Rihanna made her musical return at Super Bowl LVII with an explosive halftime show, where she also subtly revealed that she's pregnant with her second child.

It's unclear when exactly Rihanna and Rocky's baby will arrive, so until we find out, we'll simply marvel at these photos of her and her growing baby bump. See Rihanna's Oscars snaps ahead.
