How Rosalía and Kylie Jenner Became Friends

Rosalía and Jenner's first public interaction seemingly happened at the second annual Astroworld festival in November 2019. The "Beso" singer was part of the star-studded lineup that year, while Jenner primarily attended the show to support her on-again, off-again boyfriend Travis Scott.

According to the Houston Chronicle, the makeup mogul watched Rosalía's set from the front row, where she was spotted dancing with a group of friends. Rosalía reportedly noticed Jenner in the crowd and then dedicated a song to her, which appeared to kick off their friendship.

Rosalía and Jenner began to hang out shortly after their Astroworld interaction. In December 2019, the pair met up in Los Angeles to share mimosas. At the time, Rosalía posted a photo with Jenner on Instagram that showed the stars sitting at a table outside while enjoying their drinks together. "Mimosaaaaassss💛🥂💛," Rosalía captioned her post.

In a since-deleted Instagram (via Metro UK), Jenner reportedly captioned her photos with the singer, "Madre mía rosalía" and "in love with her vibe."

That same month, Rosalía and Scott dropped a remix for the rapper's hit single "Highest in the Room."

It didn't take long for Rosalía and Jenner to become friends. After Jenner attended Rosalía's concert at the Staples Center in January 2020, the "The Kardashians" star shared videos of the singer's performance on Instagram, which she captioned "my baby," "my wife," and "she's taken."

Jenner also posted a photo of her and Rosalía that showed the two embracing while wrapping their legs around each other. According to Metro UK, Jenner put a ring emoji in her caption, which made Rosalía comment "WifeyyyyYyYyY" in response. Rosalía then reposted Jenner's photo on her own Instagram alongside the caption, "I said yessss💍."

Later, that January, Rosalía gushed over Jenner while talking to Entertainment Tonight at the 2020 Grammys. "She's a very good friend of mine and I hope that tonight I see her. Yeah, I love her a lot, she knows it," Rosalía told the outlet. After being asked if they were collaborating on a project, Rosalía said she and Jenner were just "good friends."

In February 2020, Jenner threw a star-studded party to celebrate her daughter Stormi's second birthday. Of course, Scott was in attendance, along with Jenner's other famous family members like Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner. She also invited her friends, like Hailey Bieber and Rosalía. The "Tuya" singer and Jenner shared several videos of them hanging out during the party on their Instagram Stories. Although the clips have since been deleted, fans have reposted them on TikTok.

Rosalía and Jenner had the best reactions after discovering an old clip of them screaming went viral on TikTok. "omg 🤣🤣," Jenner wrote on her Instagram Story (via People) after a fan brought the resurfaced video to her attention.

In her post, the beauty star tagged Rosalía, who was also seemingly unaware that the duo had gone viral. "queeeeeeeee 😂 😂 😂 😂," she wrote in response. The video in question featured a mashup of Rosalía and Jenner screaming at Stormi's second birthday and Aaliyah's "Are You That Somebody."

When Rosalía returned to Los Angeles to perform in October 2022, Jenner couldn't miss the chance to see the star in concert again. At the time, Jenner made quite the fashion statement with her concert look by wearing Balenciaga denim pants as a top.

Rosalía and Jenner saw each other on several occasions during Paris Fashion Week. On Sept. 25, Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet were spotted attending Rosalía's 31st birthday party, per Page Six.

Then, just two days later, Rosalía and Jenner both attended the Acne Studios fashion show on Sept. 27. The stars were photographed sitting side by side while enjoying the event from the front row. They also hugged while posing for photos together. At one point, the pair even hilariously re-created their viral screaming video, which Jenner later shared on TikTok.
