8 Moments That Made the SAG Awards Worth Watching

We understand if the SAG Awards aren't high up on your list of must-see award shows, but if you didn't tune in this year, you really missed out. Leonardo DiCaprio, Idris Elba, and Orange Is the New Black were among the night's biggest winners, and there were some truly memorable moments in between all the acceptance speeches. If you missed Saturday night's ceremony, here's your cheat sheet for what people will be talking about!

Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm Opened the Show

If you tuned in from the very beginning, you got to see Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm together on stage. The two funny people have costarred in Friends With Kids and Bridesmaids (among other projects) and we'll never get sick of seeing them play off each other's humor.

Jason Bateman Called Jeffrey Tambor "Dad"

Jeffrey Tambor won for his role on Transparent, but we won because we got to see this truly spectacular moment. Bateman was on hand to present the award, and he called out, "Get up here, Dad," to his Arrested Development costar. If that doesn't fill your heart with joy, you must not even know who the Bluths are.

The Cast of Orange Is the New Black Dominated

Not only did they dominate, but they looked so damn good while doing it. The cast took home the award for ensemble cast in a comedy series, and Uzo Aduba won an individual SAG Award for her performance as Crazy Eyes.

Idris Elba Won Twice

If you've been dying to see more of Idris Elba (and really, who hasn't been?), the SAG Awards were the place to be. Elba won not one but two awards for his roles on Luther and in Beast of No Nation. Oh, he's also bros with Jacob Tremblay now.

Jacob Tremblay Was Way Too Cute For His Own Good Again

Speaking of the little man, the Room star (and SAG nominee) sported a bow tie for the show and continued to be the world's most charming child. Is it weird to want to be best friends with a 9-year-old?

Diversity Ruled

You know how the Oscars are under fire for, well, being so white? Well, a diverse crop of winners appeared at the SAG Awards, including Queen Latifah, Viola Davis, and the aforementioned Idris Elba. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to diverse TV," he said while presenting on stage.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Burned Leonardo DiCaprio

Fey and Poehler were on hand to present Carol Burnett with the lifetime achievement award, but they couldn't resist poking a little fun at the Revenant star. "So, you slept in a horse, and you ate bison liver," said Poehler. "Big whoop. Carol would've slept in that horse, worn it, done a song and a dance, and made a much funnier face after eating something very disgusting." Very true.

Leonardo DiCaprio Got One Step Closer to the Oscar

Meanwhile, this just might be Leo's year, folks. DiCaprio took home the SAG Award for his role in The Revenant, to absolutely no one's surprise. He even took the time to hug Kate Winslet on his way up! What a gentleman.
