Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga A Star Is Born Screen Test Clip

Even Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's Screen Test For A Star Is Born Is Fizzing With Sparks

A Star Is Born has finally been released on DVD and digital, and you know what that means: all kinds of fun extra goodies for fans to indulge in. Thanks to a dutiful Instagram fan account called "gagaxbradley," we're now privy to a clip that seems to be a screen test for the close friends and costars, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper (our Ally and Jackson Maine, respectively). In the screen test, it looks like we're getting an early version of the scene in which Jackson visits Ally's house and begs her to go to his concert that night. Of course, the lack of sound makes it hard to say for certain. It's worth noting that in the clip, Jackson looks way more like Cooper than the messy alcoholic Jackson; he's got a cute denim shirt on, shorter coiffed hair, and . . . is that an earring in his ear?! Let's just say we're glad that got nixed (unless it's hiding underneath Jackson's "mane," ha).

All jokes aside, the screen test shows what we figured must have been there the whole time: an undeniable, totally electric chemistry between Cooper and Gaga. Looks like all that pasta eating and makeup wiping really did ignite a special bond between the two, right from the get-go. While we hope for a longer clip of the screen test (with sound) to appear somewhere, we're just going to keep crying over that "Shallow" performance in Vegas and crossing our fingers for Lady Gaga's big win at the Oscars. Maybe twice over, if we're really lucky.
