Scream Queens: All the Hints We Have About the Killers

We're not ashamed to say that we've been obsessed with Scream Queens since the premiere. We've been theorizing for weeks about who could be the killer, but since there's more than one murderer, things are a bit complicated. At this point, three characters are confirmed to have killed, but only two are definitely guilty of being in on the bigger-picture revenge plot. In an effort to consolidate all the information we have, here's what we know about the people who are behind the Red Devil masks.

There's More Than One Killer

When the series began, we assumed there would be one serial killer — we were wrong. At this point, we know there are at least three killers, if not more. We've even seen two dressed in identical Red Devil costumes at the same time.

Boone Is Definitely a Killer

There are a few shady characters on Scream Queens, and Boone has been a suspect since the premiere. He fakes his own death, then is released from the morgue by a mysterious partner. The latest episode confirms that he's one of the killers, as he's seen in disguise at the gym. He picks up his phone and is clearly speaking to another killer, complaining: "All I do is work out and kill people." He also says that Gigi is ruining their image with her Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia mask and that they need to "take her out, then we finish what we set out to do." Case closed: he's one of the killers.

Gigi Is Also Definitely a Killer

Gigi has been a prime suspect from the beginning, and the reveal that she's the Hag of Shady Lane only intensified our suspicion. We've heard her talking to one of the killers on the phone, and after this week's episode when Boone name-checks her as the person dressed as Antonin Scalia on the phone, it's 100 percent confirmed that she's in on the murdering.

The Bathtub Incident Plays a Big Part

There has been so much information revealed about the bathtub incident in the '90s that it would be shocking (and silly) if it was unrelated to the revenge plot. Almost anyone could be the third killer, and to be fair, there could be more than three people in on it, but everything points to a trio. In the latest episode, we learn that there are not one but two bathtub babies, so one theory is that Boone is the baby boy and one of the current Kappas is the baby girl. Gigi took care of them, and now that they're grown, she is helping them carry out revenge on the sorority. Gigi does say that the revenge plot has been years in the making, so the pieces all fit. We also just found out that Grace's mom (supposedly) dies in a drunk driving accident, but it's possible that she might not be dead and that she's actually the third killer. The only thing we're really sure of is that more blood will be shed before we get the truth.
