Coco Creators Pay Tribute to Mexico in an Emotional Oscars Speech

Coco took home the Oscar for best animated feature on Sunday night and managed to make us sob in the process. After accepting the award, the film's production team gave a beautiful tribute to Mexico during their speech. While producer Darla K. Anderson and screenwriter Adrian Molina gave a sweet shout-out to their loved ones, it was director Lee Unkrich's words about representation that really moved us to tears. "Marginalized people deserve to feel like they belong," he said. "Representation matters!" See the empowering video above.
