Ed Sheeran Heard a 13-Year-Old Singing His Song at the Mall and Joined Her on Stage
You know when you're walking through a mall and you hear someone singing your song? OK, not many people know that feeling — but Ed Sheeran sure does. The pop star was shopping at a mall in Canada (where he's currently on tour) on Sunday, just minding his own business, when he heard the sweet sounds of his song "Thinking Out Loud." He and his cousin, who recorded the scene, hustled to the center of the mall, where 13-year-old fan Sydney Bourbeau was performing for a fundraiser. Then, because he's Ed Effing Sheeran, he jumped on stage and sang the rest of the song with the girl. According to the local newspaper, Bourbeau didn't recognize him at first and thought he was a mall employee coming to mix the microphone. Um, best surprise ever?
