"You will be seeing Lancel Lannister in a big way in episode 10," Simon, who plays Lancel, told us. "The episode is already going to be a very climactic ending to a very, very climactic show. I'm excited for people to let us know how many of their fan theories have come true . . . It will be hard to compete with the level of violence and medieval warfare [in episode nine], but our goals for episode 10 are not to try to outdo the violence of episode nine, we're far more about character shock therapy. So that's what you can expect."

"That it feels equally as epic as episode nine," Sapochnik, who directed both episodes nine and 10, told Entertainment Weekly. "But for completely different reasons."

Liam Cunningham

Liam Cunningham

"It's not a recap," Cunningham (aka Davos) told The Hollywood Reporter. "It isn't, 'Here's what's to come in season seven.' There are very big events that are going to happen." We're curious to see what may happen between Davos and Melisandre, now that Davos knows the truth about Shireen's death. Cunningham also spoke to whether something will go down between them on the finale: "We saw that little look, with the stag in his hand, as he looks up at her in Winterfell. So we know something's coming . . . It's extraordinarily personal for Davos. It'll be interesting to see what happens with this. The options are for him to take this to a higher court, kill her himself, ignore it, there's a few options here. As the guy says with Game of Thrones, you have to wait until next week — or maybe not even next week."
