Truesdale was the first to reveal that those four iconic last words would be included in the Netflix reboot in an interview with Us Weekly. "I always felt it was intriguing, like everyone else," he said. "I was like, 'How does she know the last four words?' But when I read it, I was like, 'Oh, OK. That makes sense.' I can see now why she knew that that would be said."

The actor also revealed to POPSUGAR that we will finally get a more in-depth look at his character. "We get to find out more about who Michel is, and his personal life, which we haven't really seen much of during the series."

Graham however, had mixed feelings about the final scene. "It's not as resolved as I thought they would be," she told Entertainment Weekly. "I keep saying, 'Hey, does anyone else notice this is actually not an ending?' Amy and Dan just giggle at me." She also spilled to TV Line that the last four words would actually be an exchange between Lorelai and another character. "I asked her [Sherman-Palladino], 'Who says them?' And she says, 'Both of you.' That's all I can say. It's not, you know, in unison."

McCarthy admitted to ET at the Time 100 Gala that reprising her character has been bit a bit overwhelming, but in a good way! "It was really cool. It just felt like the absolute right thing to do," she said about her return to Stars Hollow. "I got so sentimental. I stopped by about two weeks ago, I think, and just saw the sets and saw everybody there. It kind of felt like we didn't skip a beat."

Not only is Ventimiglia returning as the town bad boy, but he also confirmed to TV Line that he will star in "more than two, less than four" episodes. He also noted that "not much has changed in Jess's world" since the show's original finale.

During a reception for his new series, This Is Us, he told E! News about what we can expect from his character's return. "He grew up and he turned into a really decent guy," he said. "In terms of what are the lessons he went through, I think he had to have life lived. I think he had to experience heartbreak, he had to experience happiness, he had to experience all these things that we all come across in life, but we can only measure the scale of them when we have time," Ventimiglia explained. "I think who Jess turned out to be was just — he got to experience life and I think he became a really cool young guy."

Amy Sherman-Palladino

Sherman-Palladino has already shared a few interesting details about the upcoming Netflix revival. For one, she told TV Line how the show will address the late Edward Herrmann's absence. "So the pilot started where all three women were at a change in their lives. And it felt like, well, that's where we need to start [the revival]. For Emily, it had to be that Richard was gone. And what did that mean? What does it mean for all three of the girls? Something they loved is gone, which means things you love will not be around forever. And you can't take them for granted."

She also teased that Rory may be single in the sense that she's not married, but "she's dating like any young woman with that face would be."

Finally, she admitted that she doesn't want all of the episodes to be released at once. You can breathe a sigh of relief, though, because she doesn't want to space them out too much. "My preference would be to release them at least a day apart. Let people get a little sunlight and go for a walk around the corner."

The actress addressed Rory's love life during a panel at Summer TCA. "We're not supposed to discuss where we pick up with her romantically, but all of her ex-boyfriends make an appearance in these chapters in one way or another." She also added that she thinks "people's questions" about who she ends up with will be "answered by the end" of the show.

During Entertainment Weekly's pre-Emmys party in September, the actor told E! News about the nature of Luke and Lorelai's relationship in the reboot. "We are together and we are figuring out our next move," he said. "There are definitely some fireworks there. We did some really intense adult scenes. Since the movies are only an hour and a half long it has way more detail and the writing is deeper and seems longer so it sort of changed. Fans are not expecting this, but it's more a film now than it is a TV show. Also, Ed Herrmann passed away so we deal with that and that affects the whole dynamic. It affects all of the relationships. There has been sexual tension for a long time. We are together, and I mean we don't arm wrestle at night. It will be addressed again, and again, and again and then we have coffee."
