After All the Shakeups Surrounding House of Cards, Find Out Who Is in the Final Season's Cast

Robin Wright will be returning to her role as Claire Underwood for the final season. Last season ends with her becoming the 47th President of the United States, so it will be interesting to see how she takes on that new role without her husband, Frank, around.

Jane Atkinson will be stepping back into her role of Catherine "Cathy" Durant, a Democratic Senator from Louisiana who then becomes Secretary of State. Last we saw her, she is hospitalized after Frank pushes her down the stairs to prevent her from testifying against him.

Boris McGiver is returning as Tom Hammerschmidt, the editor-in-chief of The Washington Herald. He has been investigating the secret dealings of Frank Underwood and his inner circle since season four, so we're looking forward to seeing what information he finds out in the final season.

Derek Cecil is back as Seth Grayson, the political operative who plays Frank Underwood's press secretary, a role he secures through blackmail.

Patricia Clarkson will be returning as Jane Davis, the Deputy Undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade. Her character is very well connected in the political universe and often negotiates back-channel dealings for the Underwoods.

In surprising news, Constance Zimmer will be returning to the show as investigative journalist Janine Skorsky, who hasn't been on screen since season four.

Not much is known about his role, but Greg Kinnear is set to join the cast for the final season.

Diane Lane will also be joining the Netflix show's cast. All that's known about her role so far is she will be playing Greg Kinnear's sister.
