Scandal Turned Into The Walking Dead This Week, and It Was Insane

Mellie is in a bad place, guys. All the Scandal character has ever wanted is to get the credit she deserves, and while she's finally about to get it, it's at the cost of her chief of staff, Liz North. Mega spoiler alert: Ms. Ruland bludgeons Liz to death with a golf club. She and her mysterious buddy Theodore want to send a message to Mellie, and Liz's not-at-all-accidental death means that Ms. Ruland can step in as Mellie's chief of staff, securing their organization is all but running the American government. It's a real bummer for Liz (and Mellie, who is splattered with blood), but actress Portia de Rossi seemed to take it in stride:
