Hairspray Live!: Jennifer Hudson Singing "I Know Where I've Been" Is the 1 Performance You Need to See

Jennifer Hudson took to the stage Wednesday night — and promptly stole the show. The singer appeared in Hairspray Live! as Motormouth Maybelle, the role that Queen Latifah played in the 2007 movie. Hudson is terrific throughout the show, but her rendition of "I Know Where I've Been" is definitely her shining moment. The song is powerful, and it needed a singer just as intense to pull it off. We haven't been this taken aback by Hudson's voice since she first sang "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" in Dreamgirls. Perfection.
