If You Were Scared of The Babadook, You Won't Stand a Chance Against The Monster

Hold on to your f*cking hats, horror fans. Just when we thought we'd reached peak terror with all the scary movies coming out this Fall, a new entry has come crashing through the car window. It's called The Monster, and the premise is simple: a young woman (Zoe Kazan) and her daughter get stranded alone in the woods after hitting a dog. As misfortune would have it, though, they're not so alone after all: some sort of otherworldly creature is on the hunt. If you had nightmares because of The Babadook or enjoyed the thrill of that grotesque monster on Netflix's Stranger Things, this is just the film for you.
