Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder Crossover Date

Olivia Pope Meets Annalise Keating in the Scandal and HTGAWM Crossover, and It's Explosive

Do you have your popcorn and wine ready? Good, because the Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder crossover episodes are coming sooner than you think. On Thursday, two new trailers for the special event were released showing the exact moment Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and Annalise Keating (Viola Davis)'s worlds collide for the first time, and let's just say, it's f*cking explosive. "So you're saying I'm a hot mess?" Keating asks Pope in the clip. "This is my town. My game. My rules." Pope retorts. You guys . . . I am shooketh!

The crossover, which is set to air Thursday, March 1, will kick off with an episode of Scandal titled "Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself." The storyline will revolve around Pope facilitating Annalise's goal of fast tracking a judicial reform class action to the United States Supreme Court. Then — because Shonda Rhimes is not done playing tag team with our wigs — How to Get Away With Murder will follow up with an episode titled "Lahey v Commonwealth of Pennsylvania" detailing the events that lead up to Keating finally getting to argue her case in the nation's highest court.

Our teacups overflow with the juiciness of it all. Watch the second trailer ahead, then remember to set your DVRs so you don't miss what Davis describes as "black girl magic on steroids" once it premieres on ABC next month.
